mentoring
DOING THE WORK, BUT NOT SURE YOU’RE ON THE RIGHT TRACK?
I started consulting in impact measurement in 2019. Back then, most for purpose organisations were only using data for grant acquittals and funder reports. So much has changed: more organisations are undertaking this work as BAU and have a firm focus on outcomes, and I love that!
Few organisations recruit a dedicated in-house research/impact lead. Often it is program managers, QA specialists, data analysts and exec staff making it happen alongside other work and priorities. This can create a capacity and capability gap.
If you want access to specialist expertise while continuing to lead and manage the work yourself, work with me as your impact measurement mentor.
With current and previous clients, this has included:
Reviewing theories of change, logic models, data collection tools.
Reviewing outcome reports, including surfacing recommendations.
Developing RFPs/RFQs for research projects (e.g. economic analyses), approaching potential suppliers, assessing proposals.
Department-wide training on social impact measurement.
Impact measurement mentoring can be casual or structured - whatever will help you reach your goals.
